HB Antwerp introduces The Navigator program to Botswana polishers.

HB Antwerp has introduced “ground-breaking” diamond cleaning software that will be used at its new facility in Botswana. With its 3D capabilities, The Navigator is said to deliver “unparalleled control and accuracy” to its polishers.

“The Navigator is a game-changer for the mineral industry,” said Tom Munters, HB’s R&D director. “We believe this development will redefine how diamonds are polished, setting new standards for precision and uniformity.”

HB Antwerp, a technology-driven business, had a 10-year agreement with Lucara to sell specialties from its Karowe mine in Botswana. However, Lucara pulled the plug last month following high-level conflicts at HB.

The new program will be used exclusively by the company’s polishers in Botswana and will not be marketed.
