Global Buyers Choose India as GJEPC Hosts Studded Diamond Jewellery BSM in Surat

GJEPC organised a Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) in Surat on 13–14 April 2026, with a preview and inaugural session taking place a day earlier, further strengthening India’s reputation as a preferred sourcing destination for international jewellery buyers. Focused exclusively on studded diamond jewellery in both natural and lab-grown diamond categories, the event brought together 16 Indian exhibitors and 17 overseas buyers from Russia, the US, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, and Poland.
Ali Pastorini, President of the Mubri Association, Brazil, said the Surat BSM created valuable business opportunities and helped deepen ties between companies and countries. She also appreciated the recognition given during the opening ceremony, highlighting the significance of such platforms in promoting global trade relationships.
The dedicated Preview Day on 12 April enabled organised interactions through showcase booths, while one of the key attractions of the event was the factory visits, giving buyers firsthand exposure to Surat’s world-class manufacturing capabilities. Across two days, international buyers toured all 16 participating factories through a well-planned schedule.
