India’s Plain Gold Jewellery export grew 28.12%YoY

According to the release figures of the gold jewellery export for the period of April 2023 to December 2023, India’s gold jewellery export is struggling to grow!

In the Gold Jewellery (Plain & Studded) category show that the provisional gross export of total Gold Jewellery for the period April 2023 to December 2023, at US$ 7260.330 million (Rs. 60184.71 crores) shown a growth of 0.68% (4.77% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 7211.09 million (Rs. 57445.21 crores) for previous year.

While provisional gross export of Plain Gold Jewellery for the period April 2023 to December 2023, at US$ 3953.99 million (Rs. 32797.13 crores) shown a growth of 28.12%(33.27% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 3086.25 million (Rs. 24608.79 crores) for previous year.

Provisional gross export all kinds of Studded Gold jewellery for the period April 2023 to December 2023,  at US$ 3306.33 million (Rs. 27387.59 crores) shown a decline of 19.84% (-16.59% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 4124.84 million (Rs. 32836.42 crores) for previous year.

Provisional gross export of Silver Jewellery for the period April 2023 to December 2023, at US$ 1228.53 million (Rs. 10196.84 crores) shows decline of 51.170% ( -49.19% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 2515.88 million (Rs. 20068.12 crores) for previous year.

Provisional gross export of Platinum Jewellery for the period April 2023 to December 2023, at US$ 124.69 million (Rs. 1036.3 crores) shown growth of 370.67% (391.07% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 26.49 million (Rs. 211.03 crores) for previous year  Provisional gross export of Coloured Gemstones for the period April 2023 to December 2023, at US$ 342.34 million (in Rs. 2832.74 crores) shows growth of 19.71% (24.58% in Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 285.99 million (Rs. 2273.9 crores) for previous year.
