Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially introduces the PM Vishwakarma Yojna for Artists.

On the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti on September 17, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi unveiled the PM Vishwakarma logo, tagline, and platform for traditional artists and craftspeople.

The India International Convention and Expo Centre (Yashobhoomi), which was built by the Shramiks and Vishwakarmas, was honored by the prime minister. Every worker in the nation and every Vishwakarma are honored today as I dedicate “Yashobhoomi,” he remarked. He assured the Vishwakarmas involved in today’s program that “Yashobhoomi” would be a bustling hub connecting their works with the rest of the world and international markets.

The Prime Minister referred to the Bharat Mandapam, which had become a topic of conversation throughout the world, and remarked that Yashobhoomi furthered this heritage with greater splendour. “The Viksit Bharat of today is crafting a new identity for itself in every sector,” he added. “Yashobhoomi has spoken loud and clear. Any event held here would be successful and well-known, Shri Modi emphasized. Yashobhoomi will serve as a platform for exhibiting the India of the future, he continued.

The Prime Minister has recognized the hard work of our artisans, and the program will honor and strengthen them, said Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, in his remarks at the historic launch of the Vishwakarma Yojana.
