The Dholakia Foundation has won the Philanthropy Award at the 2022 Indian Family Business Awards.

The Dholakia Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., has won the Philanthropy category at The Indian Family Business Awards 2022, an initiative of Moneycontrol and Waterfield in India.

This award recognizes and honours family-owned enterprises that have shown extraordinary leadership in tackling societal concerns through innovative techniques, resulting in significant improvement in community well-being, charitable efforts, partnerships, and non-profit ventures.

Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal presented the award to Tulsi Dholakia and Pintu Dholakia of Hari Krishna Exports on August 19th, honoring their extraordinary achievement.

Tulsi Dholakia stated of collecting the honor, “We are deeply humbled and elated to be recognized with this esteemed award.” Philanthropy has always been at the heart of our values, and this recognition encourages us to keep working to effect significant change.”

Shri Piyush Goyal‘s talk reflected on India’s journey from being one of the five most vulnerable countries a decade ago to its current growth and improvement. He emphasized the conviction that drove India’s change, praising the hard work of Indian family-owned businesses for their contribution.
