Hari Krishna Exports participates in the International Day of Yoga campaign on a global scale.

More than 8,700 people joined together to commemorate the 9th International Day of Yoga at Hari Krishna Exports, a renowned diamond producer in India. In Surat and Jio Garden in BKC Mumbai, this spectacular event was attended and participated in with tremendous fervour.

On the International Day of Yoga, Surat broke a world record with the active involvement of more than 1,50,000 people. The Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, the Home Minister Shri Harsh Sanghvi, the President of the BJP in Gujarat and Member of Parliament Shri C.R. Paatil, and other esteemed ministers actively participated in the event, which was expertly coordinated and oversaw by the Surat Municipal Corporation.

Both the Seepz unit and the Head Office actively participated in the event, which was held at Jio Garden in Mumbai. 1,400 participants from the Seepz unit and 350 from the Mumbai head office participated in the event with enthusiasm.

The event demonstrated the importance of staff health and wellbeing to the organisation. Everyone who attended, including numerous members and well-wishers from the diamond industry, found it to be an amazing event.

The yoga exercises began with pranayama, a breathing technique, then included a series of asanas intended to encourage both physical and emotional recovery.

The United Nations created the International Day of Yoga, which is observed every year on June 21, to promote holistic health and highlight the transforming nature of yoga. Yoga, which originates from ancient India, mixes physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to support mental and physical balance.

The International Day of Yoga serves as a reminder to people and groups all around the world to embrace the practice and enjoy its numerous advantages. This year’s International Day of Yoga had the subject “Yoga for Humanity” to reflect how the world is now dealing with the negative effects of the pandemic.
