But it is a symbol of purity, rarity, and eternity, in addition to its physical attributes. These values resonated with celebrities as they made memorable red carpet appearances. When it comes to making a statement of sophistication and eternal beauty, nothing shines quite like platinum.
This year’s Met Gala was a platinum-filled extravaganza. Dua Lipa (seen above) outshines the competition with a sparkling platinum necklace by Tiffany and Co. The 29th Annual SAG Awards were certainly a platinum elegant event. Amanda Seyfried, shown above with platinum Cartier high jewellery earrings set with emeralds, onyx, and diamonds, stole the show. Emily Blunt chose a platinum Bvlgari high jewellery ring with an oval ruby for her red carpet moment in an outfit Miranda Priestly would approve of. Cara Delevingne, on the other hand, made the greatest platinum statement with her De Beers jewellery outfit, which included a platinum line bracelet, eternity band, volute ring and an emerald diamond eternity band.
Platinum was the metal of choice at the Golden Globes.
