Jos Alukkas plans to invest 5,500 crore to open 100 outlets.

The retail jeweller company Jos Alukkas, located in Thrissur, Kerala, would invest 5,500 crore over the next 7–8 years to open 100 additional stores around India. According to the company’s managing director Varghese Alukka, this will be the single largest investment and expansion strategy by a retail jewellery brand in the nation.

The 50-store jewellery chain has now appointed actor R Madhavan as its global ambassador. Actress Keerthy Suresh will spearhead future Jos Alukkas campaigns alongside Madhavan.

According to Varghese Alukka, the corporation is considering growing abroad in nations including the US, the UK, and the Gulf area.

Being a designer brand outside of India will be the main goal. A global design lab will be established. According to the company’s chairman Jos Alukka, the Global Expansion will focus on every major city in the world, not only those where the Indian Diaspora is concentrated.
