QWEEN Opens Its First Experiential Jewellery Store in Noida, Redefining Luxury Retail Through Self-Discovery

QWEEN, India’s first self-discovery experiential luxury jewellery brand, backed by Rosy Blue and Kashikey, has launched its first retail store in Noida. The opening marks the brand’s entry into physical retail with an innovative concept that places personal expression, independent exploration and immersive experiences at the heart of jewellery shopping.
While the lifestyle retail sector has evolved to meet changing consumer expectations, traditional jewellery shopping has largely remained centred on glass displays, product-focused selling and budget-driven conversations. QWEEN aims to transform this experience through an invitation-led retail approach that prioritises the woman’s personality, preferences and individuality rather than the jewellery alone.
A New Approach to Jewellery Discovery
Located at Aditya Ancora, Sector 50, Noida, the approximately 4,500 sq. ft. store has been designed as the brand’s Clubhouse. A key feature is the QWEEN Access Card, which enables women to unlock jewellery counters and explore collections independently, at their own pace.
Instead of conventional product categories, the store introduces a persona-led shopping experience built around five distinct identities: Party Girl, Own My Runway, Untamed in Love, I Want It All and Femininity Reclaimed. These personas allow customers to discover jewellery based on their moods, personalities and individual styles.
The store showcases more than 3,000 designs across over 16 collections, featuring exclusively natural gemstones and diamonds. In contrast to the growing uniformity of designs across the jewellery market, QWEEN has invested in original in-house design to develop distinctive creations and proprietary design signatures.
Distinctive Design Signatures and Storytelling
Every QWEEN creation incorporates three signature elements that reflect the brand’s identity:
- Orange Sapphire: Positioned behind every piece as a distinctive expression of the brand.
- Apostrophe: Inspired by the QWEEN logo and its philosophy of reclaiming labels historically used to diminish women.
- Scallop: A recurring design motif that connects the brand’s different collections.
Beyond their visual appeal, the brand’s creations are supported by four storytelling elements: the Design Story, Craftsmanship Story, QWEEN Signature Story and Trivia Story. These narratives offer customers insights into each piece’s inspiration, making process and distinctive details.
Interactive Gemstone and Diamond Experiences
The Noida store features dedicated experiential zones designed to help customers better understand the materials, craftsmanship and quality behind their jewellery.
The Gemstone Experience Centre traces the transformation of gemstones from their natural rough state to their final polished form. Customers can also examine commercially available market-grade stones to compare differences in quality, colour and craftsmanship.
Meanwhile, the Diamond Experience Centre brings the brand’s Mine to Marvel™ concept to life through physical displays illustrating the journey of natural diamonds from rough stones to polished gems. Educational content, the DiamondIQ Meter™ and the Hearts & Arrows Viewer help demonstrate diamond characteristics, authenticity-related information and precision in cutting.
The store also features a DIY Zone, where customers can personalise their rings by experimenting with different shanks, crowns and centre stones before their chosen design is crafted. This interactive approach makes customisation an integral part of the jewellery discovery process.
Leadership Perspective: Putting Women at the Centre
Amit Kumar, Co-founder and CEO of QWEEN, described the store launch as an important milestone in the brand’s mission to reshape jewellery retail in India.
He said, “The launch of our first store in Noida marks a defining milestone in QWEEN’s journey to redefine jewellery retail in India. For decades, the industry has largely expected women to fit into its conventions. QWEEN was born to challenge that thinking by creating a brand where the experience begins not with a product, but with the woman herself. Our first store is the physical expression of that philosophy, bringing together self-discovery, complete transparency and 100% natural gemstones and diamonds through an experiential retail journey, where women are no longer mannequins for jewellery, but choose jewellery that expresses who they are.
“From persona-led shopping to dedicated spaces celebrating craftsmanship and storytelling, every touchpoint has been designed to reimagine how jewellery is discovered and experienced. As we expand across India, our ambition is not simply to open stores, but to establish a new benchmark for jewellery retail.”
Technology Enabling a More Personalised Shopping Journey
Suyash Motarwar, Co-founder and CTPO of QWEEN, highlighted how technology supports the brand’s approach to customer independence and transparency.
He said, “At QWEEN, technology has been designed as an invisible enabler of consumer agency. It connects the physical product with transparent information and allows every woman to move through the store in the way that feels most natural to her. Our focus is on removing friction from discovery through transparent, readily accessible information and ensuring that the experience can continue seamlessly across physical and digital touchpoints. The result is a luxury environment that retains the warmth of human interaction while giving consumers far greater control over how they explore and decide.”
QWEEN Plans Expansion Across India
The Noida opening marks the first step in QWEEN’s broader retail expansion strategy. Backed by Rosy Blue and Kashikey, with strategic investors Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, the brand plans to enter Delhi and Bengaluru over the next three months.
Through its women-first retail philosophy, original designs and interactive discovery experiences, QWEEN aims to establish a differentiated position in India’s luxury jewellery market, offering consumers greater freedom to explore jewellery that reflects their identity and personal style.
