VBJ Announces Its Inaugural Exclusive Jewellery Exhibition in Mettupalayam
Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ), one of India’s most trusted heritage jewellery brands, will host its inaugural exclusive jewellery exhibition in Mettupalayam on 19 and 20 June at Hotel EMS Mayura. The two-day event is designed to offer customers from Mettupalayam and neighbouring regions an opportunity to explore VBJ’s renowned jewellery collections closer to home.
The exhibition will present an extensive selection of gold, diamond, and solitaire jewellery, featuring bridal masterpieces, modern designs, necklaces, bangles, earrings, rings, lightweight pieces, and statement creations. The curated collection reflects VBJ’s long-standing commitment to craftsmanship, elegance, and innovation, catering to diverse tastes and occasions.
Commenting on the initiative, Amarendran Vummidi, Managing Partner, VBJ, said the exhibition marks an important milestone in bringing the brand’s signature jewellery experience to customers across Tamil Nadu. He noted that the showcase will feature designs that seamlessly blend heritage with contemporary aesthetics.

A fifth-generation family-owned enterprise, VBJ is also recognised for crafting the historic Sengol, the sacred sceptre that symbolises India’s democratic heritage. Following extensive research by the VBJ team, the Sengol was reinstated beside the Speaker’s chair in the new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reaffirming the brand’s deep connection with India’s cultural legacy.
As part of its expansion plans, VBJ is also preparing to launch its largest jewellery showroom on Coimbatore’s 100ft Road. The Mettupalayam exhibition reflects the brand’s ongoing efforts to make its legacy, craftsmanship, and personalised customer experience accessible to a wider audience. The exhibition will be open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on both days.
