SRK Celebrates 20 Years of the Santokbaa Humanitarian Award
Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), through its philanthropic arm Shree Ramkrishna Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF), commemorated the 20th edition of the Santokbaa Humanitarian Award, recognising individuals whose efforts have made a profound and lasting contribution to society.
This year, the prestigious honour was bestowed upon Dr. Gullapalli N. Rao, Founder Chair of the LV Prasad Eye Institute, and Reema Nanavaty, Director of SEWA, for their outstanding work in healthcare and women’s empowerment, respectively. SRKKF also introduced the first-ever Santokbaa Social Entrepreneur Award, which was presented to Srikanth Bolla, Founder of Bollant Industries.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh, Hon’ble Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. Guests of Honour included Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, along with several distinguished dignitaries.
Established in 2006 by Govind Dholakia, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of SRK, the Santokbaa Humanitarian Award honours exceptional leadership in humanitarian service. Over the last two decades, it has recognised renowned changemakers such as Ratan Tata, the Dalai Lama, Sudha Murty, and Kailash Satyarthi.
Reflecting on this year’s recipients, Govind Dholakia said, “Their commitment to purpose-driven work has positively impacted millions of lives. Their dedication and vision serve as a reminder that true success lies not in personal accomplishments, but in uplifting others and creating meaningful change.”

While awards do not create changemakers, they help spotlight inspiring stories and motivate others to contribute.
