IIJS Bharat Honoured with Special Legacy Award at Exhibition Excellence Awards 2026

IIJS Bharat, the flagship gem and jewellery exhibition organised by GJEPC, was awarded the coveted Special Legacy Honour at the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2026. This marks the third consecutive year that the show has been recognised at the prestigious industry awards.

The accolade celebrates IIJS Bharat’s long-standing impact on the exhibition sector and acknowledges its remarkable journey over the last 42 years, during which it has grown into one of the world’s premier B2B sourcing destinations for the gem and jewellery industry.

The award was received by Shamal Pote, Director – National Exhibitions, GJEPC, on behalf of the Council. Speaking on the occasion, he noted that the honour reflects the trust and continued support of exhibitors, buyers, visitors, industry stakeholders, and partners who have played an integral role in shaping the success of IIJS Bharat over the years.

Over the decades, IIJS Bharat has emerged as a vital platform for connecting manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and international buyers, while reinforcing India’s position as a leading global hub for gems and jewellery.
