7th IJEX FAM Programme Offers Indian Exporters Direct Insights Into UAE Jewellery Market

The 7th batch of the Familiarisation Programme (FAM) at the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX) in Dubai commenced with Indian exporters receiving valuable first-hand exposure to the UAE’s dynamic jewellery trade and emerging opportunities across the Middle East region.

Organised under GJEPC’s flagship Exporter Mentorship Program (EMP), the initiative is designed to provide exporters with practical market understanding, international exposure, and new avenues for business growth beyond the Indian market.

During the programme, participants visited key jewellery hubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman, where they observed regional consumer trends, retail formats, jewellery segments, and purchasing patterns through curated market tours and expert interactions.

One of the major highlights of the programme was an engaging session at the World Academy of Design, along with the “Gouache in High Jewellery” experience conducted by L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts. These sessions offered participants valuable perspectives on jewellery design, craftsmanship, and positioning within the luxury jewellery segment.
