GJEPC Connects with Indian Envoys to Boost Diversification into European Markets

GJEPC’s Delhi Regional Office hosted an interactive session with Indian ambassadors to Romania and Serbia, ahead of a proposed business delegation visit scheduled from 18–26 May 2026.

H.E. Shri Abhishek Shukla, Ambassador of India to Serbia, and H.E. Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania and Moldova, extended full institutional support for the initiative. They highlighted the important role of Indian embassies in fostering business connections, facilitating smoother market entry, and assisting participants during the visit. They also addressed industry concerns related to regulations, trade conditions, and market access.

Welcoming the dignitaries, Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, emphasised the growing interest among members in exploring emerging European markets. Ashutosh Srivastava, Regional Director – Delhi, GJEPC, shared an in-depth market overview covering demand patterns, consumer preferences, import requirements, and export opportunities across Romania, Serbia, and Moldova.

The session saw participation from 20 members through both physical and virtual attendance and concluded with a strong focus on practical next steps and meaningful engagement.
