GIA India Offers ‘Jewellery Merchandising for Retailers’ Course.

GIA India has announced its latest offering, the “Jewellery Merchandising for Retailers” course, which promises to alter India’s jewellery retail scene by giving participants with essential insights into the art and science of effective jewellery marketing.

The course provides students with key concepts and practical techniques. This training is designed to improve the strategic competencies of jewelry firm owners, merchandisers, retail sales staff, category managers, and store managers. Participants will be better able to create sales success if they match their merchandising strategies with corporate objectives.

The course will be delivered remotely four days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A one-day hands-on practical session at GIA India‘s Mumbai campus is also planned, running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The inaugural batch begins on June 10th.

The seminar digs into the complexities of identifying Indian jewellery target groups. Participants will learn how to detect market trends, examine purchase behaviors, and tailor methods to effectively engage with certain customer categories.

Apoorva Deshingkar, Senior Director – Education and Market Development, GIA India, stated, “For jewelry merchants to thrive in today’s increasingly competitive market, learning how to properly apply the art of merchandising has become a requirement. Participants can use the course’s blended learning mode to balance their commercial and professional responsibilities.”
