As part of their mission, the GJEPC delegation recently traveled to Panama to assess market needs, explore commercial prospects, and network with industry associations and top corporations. The goal is to strengthen India’s position in the gems and jewellery sector of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) area, as well as to encourage increased participation in international trade events.
During their tour, the Indian Ambassador to Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, Dr. Sumit Seth, spoke to the group, emphasizing the significance of expanding economic connections between India and Panama. He emphasized the common goal of expanded trade and partnership. The Embassy organised the event in partnership with GJEPC to highlight the cooperative efforts to increase bilateral commerce in the gems and jewellery sector.
A networking meal followed, during which Indian and Panamanian companies discussed ways to boost commerce. This event gave delegates an essential opportunity to make new relationships and discuss future cooperation with major Panamanian companies.
