Sotheby‘s is delighted to present its Fine Jewels sale on 27 March, as part of The Paris Luxury Sales.
The sale will feature a selection of Art Nouveau pieces, including the famous, Femme ailée brooch by Vever, the well-known maker. Cartier‘s creations include several incredible stones such as a sugarloaf sapphire weighing more than 23 carats but also an exceptional Tigre bracelet set with yellow diamonds. But the selection doesn’t stop there: there are many pieces signed by the renowned houses Van cleef & Arpels, Boucheron or Chaumet.
Finally, we are thrilled to offer a unique selection of pieces from Conchita Piquer’s collection, the famous Spanish singer and actress. Here is the choicest three references of lots;
1: Sapphire and diamond ring: Of crossover design, set with a brilliant-cut diamond weighing 3.02 carats and a circular-cut sapphire, the mount set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 59, French import assay mark for platinum and 18 carat gold, partial maker’s mark, gross weight 11.10 grams.
2: Diamond ring: Of crossover design, set with brilliant-cut diamonds weighing respectively 3.38 and 2.78 carats, within a surrounding of brilliant-cut diamonds, the mount ornated with carré-cut diamonds, size 55, French import assay mark for 18 carat gold, gross weight 20.96 grams.
3: Emerald and diamond ring: Set with a rectangular emerald shouldered with baguette diamonds, size 55, French import assay mark for platinum, gross weight 10.48 grams.
