Rio Tinto commemorates their 150th anniversary with a special stamp.

Rio Tinto has cooperated with the Department of Posts in India to develop a customised, My Stamp and special cover called Rio Tinto 150 to commemorate 150 years of exploring better methods to offer the commodities the world needs. Rio Tinto‘s dedication to drive innovation and constant development to produce the minerals and metals required in everyday life in the safest and most sustainable way possible is symbolized by the stamp.

The stamp’s distinctive cover visually represents Rio Tinto‘s significant contributions to global industry. It captures the spirit of Rio Tinto‘s products that are essential to everyday life, with six blocks of pictures including the Rio Tinto 150 logo.

In the presence of H.E. Philip Green OAM, High Commissioner of Australia to India, Sharlene Cosgrave, Head of Group Services, Rio Tinto, and Vikram Merchant, Country Head-India, Rio Tinto, Ashok Kumar, Postmaster General, Delhi Circle, Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, released the stamp and special cover on 12 December 2023 to commemorate 150 years of Rio Tinto.
