This holiday season, Swarovski opens its largest flagship store on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
Swarovski on Fifth is a beacon of joyful extravagance on the world’s most iconic shopping street, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the sparkling world of one of Europe’s oldest luxury houses.
Customers will discover Swarovski’s collections from crystal jewelry and home décor to Eyewear, Tableware, and limited-edition products upon entering the store; discover crystallized collaborations with global brands such as ’47 x MLB for the iconic New York Yankee cap and I Heart NY; and marvel at the fine jewelry collections made with lab-grown diamonds.
The boutique, designed by Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, aspires to inspire amazement while paying homage to the gleaming beauty of crystal. Swarovski on Fifth, spread across two floors and 14,400 square feet, is like stepping into a bright jewelry box loaded with treasures, including the largest crystal chaton ever cut.
“As New York is an iconic fashion capital and also feels like a second home to me, it is exciting to see our flagship on 5th Avenue come to life,” Giovanna Engelbert said. I wanted to create the sensation of entering a massive crystal – the Swarovski world – and to spark the imagination from the moment you walk into the store.
From the magnificent octagonal staircase to the use of quilted velvet and silk throughout the store, every detail is designed to give clients the impression that they are inside a rich jewelry box. “My goal was to create a modern, joyful, elevated, and futuristic design that reflected the light, energy, and colors of New York.”
