The BIJC has announced the winners of the inaugural Rock the Jewels Awards.

The Black In Jewelry Coalition (BIJC) proudly announced the winners of its first-ever Rock the Jewels Awards on November 16, 2023 at the Rock The Jewels Event with New York City Jewelry Week in a historic celebration of diversity, excellence, and a commitment to inclusivity in the jewelry industry. This historic occasion marks a key turning point in BIJC‘s history.

“As we reflect on the last three years of the BIJC‘s existence, we can’t help but marvel at the milestones we’ve achieved together,” BIJC President Annie Doresca stated. “The 50th anniversary of Hip Hop provided the ideal backdrop for not only celebrating the cultural phenomenon, but also honoring BIJC‘s unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the jewelry industry.” That is exactly what the award recipients represent, and we are very pleased of the difference they have made.”
