On November 9, 2023, Dr. Vidyakumari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Udupi, launched the first batch of training for the Social Welfare Department at IIGJ Udupi. Mr. Prasanna H, IAS, Chief Executive Officer of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, and Ms. Anita, Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department were present. The Implementation Committee’s Mr. Nagaraj Acharya and Mr. Ravichandra Marali were also present. The students were given an outline of the program by Mr. Koushik, the Institute’s Head.
