THE ROADSHOW IN BANGALORE WAS HELD AHEAD OF THE JAIPUR JEWELLERY SHOW 2023.

A promotional roadshow called ‘JJS Synergy’ was held at Hotel JW Marriott in Bangalore for the next big jewellery show, Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS). The roadshow drew jewelers from all over the country. During the ceremony, Mr Rajiv Jain, Honorary Secretary of JJS, delivered a presentation on the future edition of The Jaipur Jewellery Show, which would be held in its 21st year from December 22 to 25, 2023 at JECC, Jaipur.

This JJS Synergy Meet was attended by prominent jewellery associations such as IBJA’s National Vice President Dr. Chetan Kumar Mehra, JAB’s President Mr. Suresh Ganna, KSJF advisory committee president Mr. Sumesh Wadhera, and Diamond Association Bangalore‘s president Mr. Kiran Mehta.

Mr Rajiv Jain fully discussed why the city of Jaipur was chosen for this event throughout his presentation. He stated that the fine craft of jewelry and gemstones has a long history in Jaipur, dating back to the city’s founding. It’s no surprise that, in just 20 years, JJS has become a major annual event in Jaipur. Giving attendees further information about the presentation, he stated that this year’s theme is “Emerald, your stone…your story.”

When discussing the history of JJS, he stated that the event has grown significantly since its inception in 2004 with 67 booths to today having as many as 1100 booths, with 200+ applicants still on the waiting list. He estimates that 35,000 to 40,000 people and foreign traders attend and participate each year.

Mr Jain further stated that this year there will be a “Pink Club” with 80 booths for B2B engagement, up from roughly 51 booths last year. He also stated that the Emerald Promotion Group will have 14 members this year.

Mr Kamal Kothari, Treasurer JJS, gave the vote of gratitude, thanking all the dignitaries in attendance.

GJEPC, ICA, GJC, GIA, DTC, NJGCI, CIBJO, WFSB, RIO-TINTO, GEMFIELDS, IGI, and DGL are among the notable partners of JJS, which is one of the country’s few MSME registered gem and jewellery exhibitions.
