GJEPC’s Delhi Regional Office recently co-hosted a seminar with global retail giant Amazon, concentrating on launching gem and jewelry exports via the popular e-commerce platform.
GJEPC’s Regional Chairman – North, Ashok Seth, emphasized the growing necessity of embracing e-commerce platforms for jewelry exports. The conference gathered a sizable crowd, with roughly 97 attendees representing various aspects of the gems and jewelry industries.
The workshop was led by Ketan Bagga, Program Lead, Export Partnerships at Amazon, who was joined by Simran Kochhar, Business Development Manager of Amazon’s Jewellery Export Division.
Out of the 97 participants, a sizable group of 64 attendees attended the conference in person, while 33 joined online via Zoom. The audience enthusiastically participated in a question-and-answer session, seeking clarity and sharing their thoughts.
