The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) designated GIA’s Carlsbad location as an ACCSC 2023 School of Excellence. The award comprises a five-year accreditation grant as well as an additional year as a distinction designated for the ACCSC‘s top-performing institutions. GIA also got the 2023 Excellence in Student Services Award for the first time for maintaining an outstanding student services program. GIA’s Carlsbad campus was named a School of Excellence in 2017 and 2012, the most recent accreditation periods.

The School of Excellence Award honors ACCSC-accredited schools for their constant adherence to the accrediting process’s objectives and requirements, as well as a dedication to providing high-quality educational programs and services to students and graduates.
The ACCSC conducted a comprehensive examination of GIA‘s educational programs and states that the majority of the school’s graduation and employment rates from all programs offered exceeded the ACCSC-accredited institutes’ average rates of graduation and employment.
