J Farren-Price, an Australian jeweller, unveils a A$930,000 Argyle Pink Diamond Masterpiece.

J Farren-Price, an Australian jeweller, has shown the first item of jewellery made from a new collection of rare pink diamonds from Argyle. The first masterpiece, The Argyle LotusTM ring, is the debut gem of the collection and features 3.34 carats of Argyle Pink DiamondsTM, accented by 3.82 carats of white diamonds.

The Argyle LotusTM will be sold for A$930,000 at J Farren-Price’s Sydney showroom. The exquisite floral design is crafted in 18-karat rose gold, with the graceful petals unfurling from a 0.12-carat Fancy Blue Argyle DiamondTM placed on the underside as a water symbol.

The Argyle Heritage CollectionTM is a special collaboration with Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon PartnerTM, GLAJZ, to create twenty limited edition jewellery pieces using the highest colour spectrum of Argyle pink diamonds.

The Argyle pink diamonds range in size from 0.30 carat to over 1 carat, and three of them were formerly Argyle Pink Diamonds TenderTM gems. J Farren-Price will disclose the remaining items in the multi-million dollar Argyle Heritage CollectionTM, each painstakingly made, in the following months

“We are delighted with this creative collaboration, and The Argyle LotusTM ring is a fitting debut piece for this heritage collection of masterpieces that will speak to the beauty and precious provenance of these outstanding jewels,” said Patrick Coppens, General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Rio Tinto‘s Diamonds business.

“This extraordinary collection of rare Argyle Pink Diamonds is a dream come true,” stated Julian Farren-Price, Director of J Farren-Price. We are thrilled to pay tribute to the world’s most iconic pink diamonds, and each piece in the Argyle Heritage CollectionTM will be the ultimate in rarity and collectability.”
