Imports of polished diamonds into the US fell 9% on-year to $2.07 billion in March, capping a slow quarter at the beginning of 2023. Shipments of polished goods fell 21% to $5 billion in the first three months. The reduction in March was less severe than that in January and February, when imports decreased by 29% and 41%, respectively, year over year.
