May 2, 2023, Mumbai The International Organisation for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025:2017 certification for the operation of its grading laboratories in Mumbai and Surat has been successfully granted to GIA India. The ISO/IEC 17025:2017 indicates technical proficiency for the operation of laboratory management systems within a specified scope.
Through a third-party accreditation body, the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), GIA India successfully completed the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation process. The general specifications for competence, objectivity, and consistent laboratory operation are laid out in the ISO 17025 standard.
