The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced that it will provide need-based scholarships to prospective students in the United States throughout the year. These scholarships are intended to assist students in achieving their educational objectives and to make the institute’s internationally acknowledged diploma and certificate programmes financially accessible. Scholarships are available to those who qualify, and to be considered, candidates must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
GIA will accept merit-based scholarship applications from potential US and international students beginning on April 15, 2023, and ending on May 15, 2023, in addition to need-based scholarships. These scholarships are available for classes beginning in July to December 2023, with applications for classes beginning in 2024 being accepted beginning in August 2023.
