The showroom was inaugurated by Gouri Ramakrishnan, w/o V.V. Ramakrishnan (late), the founder of Lakshmi Jewellery. She marked the beginning of the event by lighting the lamp. Following an address by Sajeev Ramakrishnan, son of V.V. Ramakrishnan (late). Various prominent politicians and industrialists of Thrissur honoured the occasion as well.
