GJEPC’s Retailers’ Connect Roadshow in Kochi Generates Enthusiastic Participation for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) successfully conducted the Kochi edition of its Retailers’ Connect Roadshow for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 on 14th June, witnessing an encouraging turnout of 125 jewellery retailers from various parts of Kerala.
Held with the support of the Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association (KGSMA), the programme aimed to showcase the business opportunities offered by IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 while highlighting GJEPC’s ongoing initiatives to strengthen and support the gem and jewellery sector.
Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Council’s major programmes, covering the advantages of GJEPC membership, participation in international trade exhibitions, MSME assistance schemes, Common Facility Centres (CFCs), and e-commerce initiatives designed to enhance industry growth.
Deepa Rajendran, Kerala Coordinator, GJEPC, conducted a special session in Malayalam, providing participants with detailed guidance on the registration process for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 and explaining the benefits of the event’s PVR and AVR retailer packages.
The roadshow also featured an informative presentation by Murali Ayyar, Category Head – Retail Trade, De Beers India, who shared insights into the Indian Natural Diamond Retailer Alliance (INDRA) Project, highlighting its efforts to boost consumer trust and promote the growth of the natural diamond jewellery retail segment.
