GJEPC and Latur Jewellers’ Association Organise Seminar on Membership, IIJS Bharat, and MSME Schemes

GJEPC and the Saraf Suvarnakar Vyapari Sangh, Latur jointly organised a seminar in Murud on 24 May to create awareness about GJEPC membership, participation in IIJS Bharat, and various MSME schemes and benefits.

Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director at GJEPC, spoke about the advantages of becoming a GJEPC member and explained export opportunities through courier, postal services, hand-carry, e-commerce, and online platforms. He also shared insights on important government initiatives, Maharashtra’s latest trade policy, Buyer-Seller Meets, the Capacity Building Scheme, and support programmes for MSMEs.

Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, provided detailed information about IIJS Bharat, the business prospects it offers, and exclusive discounted participation schemes available through the association.

The seminar witnessed participation from more than 300 retail jewellers from Murud and neighbouring areas such as Chakur, Ausa, Nilanga, Ahmedpur, Udgir, and Shirur Anantpal. A Parichay Card registration drive for artisans was also conducted alongside the event.
