IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 Concludes on a High Note with India’s Leading Jewellery Manufacturers

The 4th edition of IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, wrapped up successfully at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre, reinforcing its standing as India’s third-largest B2B jewellery exhibition. The event saw significant expansion, featuring over 1,100 exhibitors across 1,900 stalls, and drew an impressive 15,000 buyers from 500 Indian cities and 40 countries—cementing its role as a key global sourcing platform.

Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC, hailed the show’s success, noting that the event surpassed expectations and reaffirmed India’s position as a hub of innovation and craftsmanship. He emphasised that beyond trade, the platform is fostering a sustainable ecosystem for long-term industry growth and strengthening global confidence.

Echoing this sentiment, Shaunak Parikh highlighted the seamless blend of India’s rich jewellery heritage with modern innovation. From the Crafts Pavilion to Innov8 Talks, the exhibition created meaningful opportunities for participants across the spectrum—from MSMEs to large exporters—to build connections and unlock new avenues for growth.

The exhibition floor was marked by focused business interactions and strategic sourcing, especially as retailers prepared for the upcoming Akshaya Tritiya and wedding season. Despite fluctuations in metal prices, manufacturers showcased adaptability by introducing lower karat gold options like 14K and 9K, alongside lightweight gold, diamond-studded jewellery, and couture creations that cater to evolving consumer preferences.

High-end jewellery continued to attract strong interest, particularly statement diamond pieces featuring fancy shapes and coloured diamonds. At the same time, smaller diamonds found relevance in lightweight, everyday designs. Advances in manufacturing enabled jewellers to reduce product weight by 20–50% without compromising on visual appeal, offering better value to consumers.

Silver jewellery also emerged with a contemporary edge, featuring finishes such as matte, oxidised, brushed, and high-polish, often enhanced with enamel and textured detailing. Coloured gemstones—including tourmalines, morganites, tanzanites, and quartz—added vibrancy, increasingly finding their place in fine jewellery collections.

Exhibitors noted the quality of buyer engagement, with many highlighting meaningful, business-focused interactions. The event provided an ideal platform for networking, relationship-building, and understanding evolving market dynamics amid price volatility.

The exhibition concluded with a grand celebration, featuring a Mega Lucky Draw that rewarded participants with premium prizes, including a Mercedes-Benz as the top award, along with vehicles such as the Mahindra Thar, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Swift Dzire, Hyundai i10, and multiple Honda Activa scooters—marking a celebratory end to a highly successful edition.
