Shringar House of Mangalsutra scales up operations with a new, bigger production facility in Kandivali, Mumbai.

Shringar House of Mangalsutra Limited has expanded its production capabilities with the inauguration of a new, larger manufacturing facility in Kandivali, Mumbai, shifting operations from its earlier unit in Lower Parel. This strategic relocation is aimed at improving operational efficiency, upgrading technological and infrastructure capabilities, and substantially increasing production capacity.

The newly launched Kandivali facility spans 16,260 sq. ft., nearly doubling the earlier 8,300 sq. ft. space, and is set to raise annual production capacity from 2,500 kg to 4,000 kg. Commercial production at the existing capacity resumed on 23rd February 2026, while the additional capacity is expected to be operational within the next three months. The relocation and expansion involve an investment of approximately Rs. 15 crores, funded through internal accruals, with a focus on capacity enhancement, installation of advanced machinery, improved efficiency, and addressing rising market demand.

Commenting on the development, Chetan Thadeshwar, MD of Shringar House of Mangalsutra Limited, stated that the new Kandivali facility marks a key milestone in the company’s growth journey. He noted that moving to a larger, technologically advanced unit will strengthen infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and significantly increase production capacity from 2,500 kg to 4,000 kg, positioning the company to better serve partners and respond to growing demand with greater agility and precision.
