CaratLane Debuts at New York Fashion Week with First Global Runway Showcase

CaratLane – A TATA Product and one of India’s leading omnichannel jewellery brands – achieved a major international milestone with its debut runway presentation at New York Fashion Week (NYFW), hosted at Chelsea Piers.
The showcase marked the brand’s first global ramp appearance, positioning it among the world’s most prominent fine jewellery platforms. The debut underscored CaratLane’s growing international aspirations and its strength in combining Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design. Supported by the legacy and trust of Tata Group, the moment also highlighted the brand’s expanding global footprint, including its retail presence in New Jersey.
The runway featured eight curated looks from CaratLane’s signature collections—Polki, Sol, Sandook, Eternity, Butterfly, and Peepal—crafted exclusively with natural diamonds. Polki reinterpreted traditional uncut diamond heritage styles for modern wear, while Sol drew inspiration from the radiance of sunrise, incorporating citrines to symbolise fresh beginnings. Sandook translated nostalgia into jewellery through motifs influenced by marigolds and jharokhas, and Eternity presented classic silhouettes in brilliant-cut diamonds. Butterfly, known for its distinctive blue enamel detailing, and Peepal, combining diamonds with green alpanites set in yellow gold to echo the sacred leaf, added further depth to the showcase.
Six of the looks were presented by international models, while Indian fashion influencers Pooja Mundhra and Anahita Bhooshan walked the remaining two ensembles, lending a cross-cultural dimension to the presentation.
Commenting on the milestone, Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director, CaratLane, described the NYFW debut as a defining moment that demonstrated how Indian artistry, design, and craftsmanship can command attention on the global stage.
