GJEPC Hosts Its First Riyadh BSM, Attracting Leading Saudi Jewellery Retailers

GJEPC marked a milestone with the launch of its first Diamond and Jewellery Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) in Riyadh, attracting leading jewellery retailers from across Saudi Arabia.
The inaugural BSM began on 2 February 2026, offering a dedicated business platform that enabled Indian exporters to connect directly with top Saudi jewellery buyers.
The event was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by H.E. Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, alongside HRH Tarfa Al Saud of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Ms. Haya Al-Sunaidi from the Ministry of Investment Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Atif of the General Authority of Foreign Trade Saudi Arabia.
Featuring 10 Indian exhibitors, the first edition witnessed strong participation from prominent Saudi retailers, especially buyers from Riyadh, highlighting robust local demand for diamond jewellery.
As the first BSM of its kind held in the Saudi capital, the initiative provides Indian companies with a direct entry point into Saudi Arabia’s expanding luxury jewellery market, while reinforcing bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
