Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, Presents Its Signature Creations at Paris Couture Week with Gaurav Gupta

Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery made its debut at Paris Couture Week, partnering with celebrated couturier Gaurav Gupta as the official jewellery collaborator. Renowned for its refined craftsmanship and design excellence, Indriya brought the richness and artistry of Indian jewellery to one of the most prestigious global fashion stages through this association.
For this season, Gaurav Gupta’s couture collection is inspired by the theme of duality—contrasting forces that coexist and complement each other—drawing from the concept of Ardhanarishvara, the sacred union of masculine and feminine energies. The collection explores fundamental contrasts such as structure and fluidity, form and abstraction, power and elegance, which together define creation.
Rooted in India’s cultural legacy and aesthetic traditions, Indriya’s jewellery seamlessly aligns with Gaurav Gupta’s signature sculptural style—precise, radiant, and architectural. The pieces are designed to accentuate both the flowing and structured elements of the couture, transforming jewellery into luminous accents that move with the wearer and create a seamless dialogue between body, craft, and couture.
Speaking about the collaboration, Gaurav Gupta shared that he views jewellery not as mere adornment, but as an extension of the body’s inner geometry. In The Divine Androgyne, he explained, each creation carries energy, memory, and quiet strength. He added that collaborating with Indriya felt intuitive, as the brand’s refined language of heritage and ornamentation offered the ideal balance of tradition and subtlety, enhancing the collection without overwhelming it.
Shantiswarup Panda, Head of Marketing and Visual Merchandising at Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, noted that Indriya’s design philosophy is deeply rooted in Indian art, craftsmanship, architecture, and culture, expressed through thoughtful storytelling. He described the collaboration with Gaurav Gupta as an opportunity to present India’s profound concept of duality to a global audience in a distinctive way at Paris Couture Week.
Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Design at Indriya, added that the fine jewellery—featuring diamonds and gemstones paired with sculptural gold—was thoughtfully curated within Gaurav Gupta’s creative universe. Each piece was designed to harmonize with the collection’s dramatic silhouettes and fluid forms, enhancing the couture through a blend of precision, craftsmanship, and artistic expression.
