TJS Opens Scholarship Applications and Registration for 2026 Symposium

The Jewelry Symposium (TJS), formerly the Santa Fe Symposium, has begun accepting scholarship applications for its 2026 edition, which will take place from 16–19 May at the Detroit Marriott Troy. The annual event focuses on advancing jewellery manufacturing technologies and continues to draw both industry veterans and new professionals.

TJS Chairman Linus Drogs noted that the growing shortage of skilled workers makes the symposium more important than ever, encouraging both new and returning attendees to participate and elevate their careers.

Scholarships are available for students, interns, apprentices, and early-career professionals in the jewellery sector. Selected applicants will receive full event registration and three nights of accommodation, though travel costs must be covered individually. Applications close on 5 January 2026, with winners announced in February.

Now in its fourth year, TJS—operating as a non-profit dedicated to the progress of jewellery manufacturing—continues to expand. The 2026 programme will feature global experts discussing design software, additive manufacturing, generative AI, metallurgy, casting, mold making, gemstones, sustainability, safety, and workforce development.
