GJEPC Hosts Webinar Showcasing Enhanced Trade Connect e-Platform

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) conducted an interactive webinar on 18 November 2025 to update member exporters on the newest enhancements made to the Trade Connect e-Platform. The session saw participation from nearly 70 members.

Mr. Mithlesh Pandey, Senior Director – Membership at GJEPC, inaugurated the event, emphasising the value of the platform as an integrated digital gateway. He then invited the Trade Connect team to guide attendees through the upgraded features.

During the presentation, the team highlighted various new tools designed to help exporters easily access trade information and international business prospects. They also clarified the provisions of DGFT Trade Notice No. 15/2025-26, dated 29 October 2025, which introduces updated eligibility criteria for the ‘Source from India’ service, and demonstrated the step-by-step registration workflow.

Participants were briefed on major modules such as live tariff notifications, trade fairs, FTAs, buyer databases, certifications, e-commerce avenues, and the secure, paperless issuance of Certificates of Origin. The team further stressed that these enhancements align with the Government’s Digital India initiative by promoting transparency and offering exporters simplified, centralised access to key trade insights.
