Jaipur Customs has released Public Notice No. 15/2025, announcing the launch of Ekal Anubandh — the Single All-India Multi-Purpose Electronic Bond (SEB) and Electronic Bank Guarantee, in line with CBIC Circular No. 04/2025-Cus dated 17 February 2025.
This system replaces the earlier requirement of multiple port-specific bonds with a single electronic bond valid across the country. Importers and exporters can now file one consolidated bond via ICEGATE, with features such as electronic stamp duty payment, digital signatures, and seamless online integration of electronic bank guarantees.
The reform is designed to lower costs, reduce processing time, and ease compliance by removing repetitive paperwork and administrative hurdles. Jaipur Customs added that the rollout will be phased, guided by advisories from DG Systems, with user feedback incorporated during implementation.
