Registration is now open for the 2025 World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) Congress. Interested delegates and participants can register through the official website: www.cibjo.org/congress-2025/. Scheduled to run from Monday, October 27 to Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the three-day event will mark the beginning of CIBJO’s Centenary Year.
Returning to its roots, the congress will be hosted in Paris—the city where CIBJO was originally established in 1926 as a pan-European association.
The CIBJO Congress serves as the primary annual meeting for its Assembly of Delegates and includes sessions for its sectoral commissions. These meetings review and revise the organisation’s international standards—compiled in the Blue Books—covering categories such as diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls, precious metals, gem laboratories, coral, and responsible sourcing.
Additionally, the congress features updates on the World Jewellery Confederation Education Foundation (WJCEF) and highlights CIBJO’s ongoing collaboration with the United Nations and its development initiatives.
