On July 15, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) conducted a two-hour meeting with over 40 artisans in Mumbai’s Zaveri Bazaar, as part of its ongoing efforts to establish Model Karigar Workshops aimed at upgrading traditional jewellery manufacturing hubs.
The session was led by Mr. K. Srinivasan, Convener of the Gold Panel at GJEPC, and featured an introductory presentation on the initiative by Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director – Membership, GJEPC.
The meeting saw participation from prominent industry figures including Mr. Mansukh Kothari, Gold Panel Member at GJEPC; Mr. Ajit Mauskhar from the World Gold Council; and Mr. Kalidas Roy representing the Bengali Swarna Shilpi Kalyan Sangh.
