The India–UK Gem & Jewellery Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) in London witnessed enthusiastic participation from some of the UK’s most prominent jewellery buyers, including names like Allied Gold, Brown & Newirth, Gemporia, Asprey, Optima, Astrid & Miyu, Gecko Jewellery, among others. The impressive turnout highlighted the growing trust in Indian craftsmanship and the exciting business prospects anticipated from the upcoming India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
The event was formally inaugurated by Ms. Nidhi Mani Tripathi, Hon’ble Minister (Economic), High Commission of India, London, alongside Mr. Nilesh Kothari, Convener – International Exhibitions, GJEPC, and other key industry representatives from both nations.
Held on 8-9 July 2025 at the Arsenal Executive Box in London, the BSM was organised by GJEPC and featured 26 premier Indian manufacturers from major jewellery hubs like Mumbai, Jaipur, Surat, and Delhi. UK buyers explored an extensive range of products, including fine diamond jewellery, coloured gemstone pieces, silver jewellery, and lab-grown diamond collections. The event attracted over 100 prominent retailers, independent jewellers, and distributors from across the UK.
