GJEPC Organises Second Exporter Orientation Programme at IJEX, Dubai

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) successfully held the Second Familiarisation Programme at the India Jewellery Exposition (IJEX) Centre in Dubai, as part of its ongoing Exporter Mentorship initiative, welcoming 10 enthusiastic exporters from various parts of India.

The programme provided participants with direct exposure to the retail and wholesale jewellery markets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Through market visits and retail interactions, attendees gained crucial insights into local consumer tastes, emerging regional trends, and the distinctive business culture of the UAE.

A major highlight was the group’s special visit to Van Cleef & Arpels’ L’École School of Jewelry Arts, where they explored advanced jewellery craftsmanship techniques and design artistry, offering both creative and technical inspiration.

Adding further value, the participants engaged in a thought-provoking session with Mr. Nirav Bhansali, Convener – National Exhibitions, GJEPC, who encouraged them to embrace innovation, tap into new global markets, and make strategic use of platforms like IJEX and SAJEX to expand their international business footprint.
