The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) actively took part in the MSME Sammelan 2025, a major event organised by ASSOCHAM in Lucknow on June 26–27, in observance of MSME Day. The Sammelan honoured the vital role of MSMEs in driving India’s economic and export growth, while focusing on strategies to further empower the sector.
Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman (North), GJEPC, addressed the attendees, outlining the Council’s wide-ranging efforts to support MSMEs. These included facilitating access to government MSME schemes, promoting participation in domestic and international exhibitions, expanding the Parichay Card initiative, and driving infrastructure developments such as the Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC, Jaipur Gem Bourse, and IIGJ Delhi.
He also reiterated GJEPC’s export vision of reaching USD 45 billion by 2030, in alignment with India’s larger goal of becoming a developed economy by 2047. The event attracted around 500 participants, including government officials, business leaders, and MSME representatives from various sectors.
