Van Cleef & Arpels has officially opened its first boutique in Florence, located within a historic building near the Ponte Vecchio and the Palazzo Strozzi. In a tribute to the city’s artistic and architectural legacy, the boutique preserves its original façade, enhanced with silk-inspired metallic mesh panels, capturing the Maison’s signature fusion of timeless elegance and modern aesthetics.
Spanning over 260 square meters across two floors, the boutique welcomes guests through a refined entrance hall lit by a custom-designed chandelier. Inside, visitors can explore Van Cleef & Arpels’ most iconic collections—Perlée, Alhambra, and Frivole—elegantly displayed in Murano glass showcases.
The boutique’s layout gracefully guides guests into adjoining rooms furnished in Art Deco style, enriched by green decorative panels that offer a poetic nod to nature—one of the Maison’s enduring inspirations. Curated bookshelves lined with literature and artful objects recount the brand’s legacy since its founding in 1906, inviting guests into the storybook world of Van Cleef & Arpels.
The oak flooring contrasts beautifully with a stone marble staircase that leads to the second level. Here, signature materials like black lacquered wood and green quartz create a fluid visual connection between the floors. Private salons furnished with plush sofas and armchairs provide a calm and sophisticated atmosphere.
To commemorate the boutique’s opening, Van Cleef & Arpels is hosting the “Welcome to Van Cleef & Arpels’ World” exhibition, running from May to the end of July 2025. This special showcase will feature selected heritage pieces from the Maison’s archives, offering insight into the brand’s craftsmanship, creativity, and stylistic evolution over the decades.
