Arayian x Gemfields Launch Ruby Collection to Celebrate July’s Birthstone

To mark the arrival of July — the month of the fiery ruby — Arayian Jewellery has partnered with Gemfields to unveil a striking new capsule collection showcasing rubies sourced from Gemfields’ Montepuez mine in Mozambique.

The Arayian x Gemfields collection captures the mystical charm and symbolic strength of Mozambican rubies through an array of exquisite designs, including chandelier earrings, ruby and diamond rings, classic bracelets, and bold statement necklaces.

Known for its vibrant use of coloured gemstones and glamorous aesthetics, Arayian provides the perfect canvas for rubies mined from Montepuez — one of the world’s most significant ruby deposits, discovered in 2009 and majority-owned by Gemfields, a global leader in the responsible sourcing and marketing of coloured gemstones.

Arayian is celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship, managing everything from gem sourcing to in-house design and production to ensure unmatched quality. This latest collection reflects the brand’s signature refinement and timeless elegance, incorporating contemporary touches into enduring styles designed to be cherished for generations.

Arayian’s commitment to ethical practices aligns seamlessly with Gemfields’ mission of transparency and sustainable impact. Gemfields ensures that the proceeds from its ruby and emerald mining operations — including emeralds from Zambia’s Kagem mine — directly support local communities and development initiatives in their countries of origin.

“Each piece in the Arayian Jewellery x Gemfields collection features responsibly sourced rubies from Mozambique, handpicked for their vivid hues and distinct character,” said Elena Basaglia, Gemfields’ Head of Partnerships and Product – Downstream. “We’re proud to see these exceptional gems take centre stage in designs that embody both red-carpet glamour and feminine strength.”

Launching just in time for ruby month, the collection is available from 1 July 2025 on Arayian.com, with prices ranging from USD 7,500 to USD 150,000.
