
Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ), a prestigious name in South India’s jewellery industry, has appointed Deepansh Bhargava as Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing. This key leadership change aligns with VBJ’s 125th anniversary celebrations and its ambitious plans for domestic and international expansion.
Bhargava brings a wealth of experience in retail and lifestyle marketing, having spearheaded brand strategies and digital campaigns for major fashion and premium retail brands. His career highlights include playing a pivotal role in the national expansion of Central under the Future Group and contributing to the early branding of Brand Factory and Foodhall. His tenure at DLF Luxury and Premium Retail gave him deeper insights into affluent consumer behavior and strengthened his expertise in experiential marketing.

Commenting on the appointment, Amarendran Vummidi, Managing Director, stated, “We’re laying the foundation for VBJ to evolve into a ₹5,000 crore brand. Following our successful debut in Dallas, Texas, we’re planning new stores in Chicago, California, and Virginia. Within India, we’re growing our footprint in Tamil Nadu with upcoming locations in Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, and new outlets in Chennai, including T. Nagar and Chrompet. We are confident that Deepansh’s strategic vision will be key to this exciting journey.”
