Mia by Tanishq Launches ‘Trees for Leopards’ Campaign to Promote Wildlife Conservation Through Jewellery

Mia by Tanishq, a fine jewellery brand under Titan, has introduced a meaningful initiative titled ‘Trees for Leopards’ as part of its ongoing #GoldForGood campaign—blending luxury with environmental responsibility. The campaign aims to support wildlife conservation in Uttarakhand by linking jewellery purchases to tree plantation.

Between 27th May and 8th June, each purchase made at a Mia store will result in a tree being planted in the customer’s name. These trees will be planted in a designated Grow-Trees project area in Uttarakhand, contributing to habitat restoration efforts that benefit the region’s leopard population.

This initiative is part of Mia’s broader sustainability vision. The brand already uses recycled gold in many of its designs to reduce the ecological impact of mining, and it continues to work towards ambitious sustainability targets, including becoming carbon neutral and water positive in manufacturing. The brand’s operations are guided by Titan’s comprehensive 4-P sustainability framework: People, Place, Process, and Planet.

Shyamala Ramanan, Business Head at Mia by Tanishq, highlighted the brand’s ethos: “At Mia, we believe jewellery should be more than beautiful—it should have purpose. Through ‘Trees for Leopards’, each purchase contributes to protecting something truly precious: the environment. It’s a way for our customers to make a stylish choice that also supports a greater cause.”
