The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) had the honour of welcoming Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India in San Francisco, to the India Pavilion at JCK Las Vegas 2025 — North America’s foremost jewellery trade event.
Dr. Reddy was received by GJEPC Chairman Kirit Bhansali. Also in attendance were Dnyaneshwar Patil (IAS), Development Commissioner, SEEPZ; Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, President of CIBJO; and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC, among other dignitaries.
India’s ever-growing influence in the global gem and jewellery sector was reflected in its impactful participation at JCK Las Vegas 2025. Spearheaded by GJEPC, India’s showcase includes key initiatives such as the India Pavilion, the curated India Design Gallery, and the immersive India Experience Lounge.
This year, the India Pavilion features 30 top-tier exhibitors highlighting the nation’s exceptional craftsmanship and design expertise. Spread across major zones — Passport, Diamond Plaza, Lab-Grown Diamond, Gemstone, and Currents — the Pavilion demonstrates India’s versatile strength in natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, coloured gemstones, and modern jewellery design.
Dr. Reddy’s visit, along with other senior officials, underscores the Indian government’s unwavering support for promoting exports and enhancing India’s presence in the global market. Their involvement uplifts the morale of participating exporters and reinforces India’s commitment to global excellence in gems and jewellery.
