The world’s largest gold frame, unveiled at WJMES in Sharjah, has set a Guinness World Record.

Among the significant features at the 55th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, Sharjah, which is currently taking place at Expo Centre Sharjah, is the “Union Frame,” which has now entered the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest gold frame.The sumptuous piece is totally made of 21-carat pure gold and was introduced by Golden Arabia Jewellery under the topic “Art that Tells the Story of a Nation.”

The majestic frame exemplifies a blend of great craftsmanship and national pride, intended to convey the enduring spirit of the UAE’s union, which is steeped in a profound heritage and directed by forward-thinking goals.

The frame depicts the country’s cultural and architectural past. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah’s Quran Roundabout, and Dubai’s Burj Khalifa are among the most prominent features. Other notable sites include Ras Al Khaimah’s historic Dhayah Fort, Fujairah Fort, the Ajman Museum, and Umm Al Quwain Museum and Fort.
